hey harvey, pleased to meet you

Meet little Harvey. He is the beautiful baby of Simone + Travis.

As soon as I met this guy, I could see the cheeky nature of him straight away. He is certainly going to keep his Mum + Dad very busy.

Harvey didn’t really want to sleep the entire time I was there. He wanted to be up, enjoying the action. Even when we were done, and he was ready for bed, he still didn’t want to sleep.

Little babies like this warm my heart so much. They’re so new. They’ve only been in this world for a short amount of time. They’re still getting use to their new life + the people around them. They have that baby smell. And they make a sweet grunting noise when they breathe. They just want to be fed, cuddled and loved.

When your world is turned upside down and you’re running on about two hours of sleep, your whole life can feel just a little crazy. But, when you look at what you’ve created, what’s come into this world and what you have now, you can forget about how you feel for just that moment. You can smile + thank your lucky stars you’ve created such an adorable human being.

Oh, all this talk makes me want to have another baby (….not just yet though ).
