As I sit here, about to publish my post, I can’t help but smile as I look through the pictures. I’ve done a few maternity shoots now and they’re really growing on me. I feel when I take these ladies pictures, we are truly capturing their special miracle growing inside their belly. It’s their moment in their lives to remember. Not everyone is lucky enough to have this opportunity.

My dear friend Katie is due in a few weeks. She has that glow, like any pregnant woman. Her belly wobbles when she laughs. Her cheeks are a little puffy and she has a certain waddle in her walk. But they’re just a few things I adore about pregnant women. They have this beautiful sense about them. It’s captivating and it’s real. And I really enjoy capturing this very moment in these ladies lives.

Katie – you are beautiful, both inside + out and I wish you all the very best for when it’s time for your baby to enter this world x
