Hello! I’m Christina Prochazka (pronounced Pro-chaz-ka). I’m Aussie born, but my parents are Czech. I’ve been to the Czech Republic once & I plan on going back. I want to eat a never-ending poppyseed cake & visit my family all over again.

I love traveling, exploring & finding hidden treasures. But, I have to admit – there’s no place like home.

Home for me is a weatherboard cottage set amongst the rolling hills of Mirboo North, Victoria. I have a German Shepherd, called Ned, a lemon tree that grows oranges, a Mulberry Bush & a bright yellow chair under one of my favourite Silver Birch trees. I love summer, then autumn, spring and my least favourite season is winter. I’m not a fan of the cold. I’m like a lizard, I like to bathe in the sun.

My family and I recently fell in love with a vintage caravan. We’re renovating it, then heading out some trips both near & far (that’s the plan anyway). You can follow our adventures here.

Some quick dot points:

*I really love food and coffee. *I love walking, running, netball & yoga. *I’m an op-shopaholic. *I steal sips of beer from my husband. *I have this obsession with vintage furnishings. *I really like the colours mustard + nude + olive. *I love fishing and eating them. *I grew up with a sister who is 9 years older than me so I have this love for Salt N Pepa. *I don’t like people who whinge and don’t do a thing about it! *I have a plant obsession *Can’t say no to dark chocolate or lemon cheesecake. *My favourite place on earth is the beach. *I love singing and always dreamt I’d become a rockstar. *I really like cooking and having dinner parties. *I feel so lucky to live where I live. *And if I could live in a treehouse, I would

I have three darlings – Maeve, Clementine and Elky (who only just ventured earth side last year). From the very first moment each of them entered my life they lit up a part of my heart I didn’t even know existed. Being a parent + running my own business (I’m not going to lie) has its challenges. While my office is at home, I like to have “work days” – so that does mean I’m not available seven days a week. I work around my family – so that might mean, replying to emails once all the kids are in bed, sorting social media content once the older two are at school, editing shoots when my husband has a day off. Family always comes first, so if I don’t reply to you within a few days (please don’t panic… however, you’re more than welcome to send me a friendly reminder), or maybe your photos are delivered to you a slightly later than I promised – please understand that I’m a Mum, too xx

Lastly – photography. To me, photography is like breathing is to you. Without it, I wouldn’t be able to tell the stories I see or the emotions I feel. Documenting people’s lives and my own (on Instagram) brings me absolute joy.
