Newmerella backyard country wedding – Britt & Bryan

It’s been a long time since I blogged. All of my most recent work gets a plug on my social media accounts – Facebook + Instagram. But, I thought, let’s get some recent stuff on this blog of mine!

When I think back to my last wedding season (just before my third baby arrived), this wedding comes straight to mind.

Imagine a country wedding, set in your own parents’ backyard. A place close to your heart. Imagine your partner is from another part of this world – and amazingly you found each other. Then imagine being able to bring them (and their family) to where you grew up.

This is what happened when Britt married her man, Bryan.

What an honour it was to see these two different worlds come together to celebrate LOVE. Love is a thing that everybody knows. You don’t need to speak the same language in order to feel love. And love was certainly all around Britt and Bryan, when they married, on the most perfect Autumn day.It’s weddings like this that remind me why I love doing what I do. I smiled with them, laughed with them and cried with them. So many memories wrapped up into one day. So many more to come x
