I’m Aussie born, but my parents are Czech & I married a German. I have European taste buds! Gimme a never ending poppyseed cake.
My absolute favourite thing in the world is my family. I love traveling, exploring & being with them.
I would live on the road, but I have to admit – there’s no place like home.
Home for me is a weatherboard house, set in amongst the rolling hills of Mirboo North, Victoria. We were hit hard when an out of the blue storm blew off our roof in Feb 2024. We have been in the rebuilding stages + are still going… Renovating this house second time round hasn’t been as exciting.
I have a Koodle called Sunday.
I love summer & autumn, spring and my least favourite season is winter. I’m not a fan of the cold. I’m like a lizard, I like to bathe in the sun. And I have this horrible raynauds disease so my feet and hands go completely numb 🙁
I have an obsession with vintage caravans. You can follow our caravanning adventure here. We only just recently sold our latest van. Not sure what our next chapter will be…
I have a new passion for horses. When I was young, I loved them. I always dreamt of owning my own. My daughter has shown a keen interest in horses and riding (we said we would NEVER buy her a pony). But things happen for a reason and my daughter borrowed a pony to help us through our darkest days. This pony ignited my love for horses and we both got the riding bug! I’m still very new and green to horse caring/riding. But I am loving the challenges and new ventures this has taken me.
I lost my dad in 2024 to a very tough & lengthy battle with cancer. His resilience, determination & bravery are pieces I remember from his journey. It was, without a doubt, the most difficult time. To witness a loved one going through this unthinkable battle is a heart breaker. My heart broke into a million pieces the day he left us. And there’s never a day I don’t think about him.

I have three darlings – Maeve, Clementine and Elky, who are all growing up WAY TOO FAST!
From the very first moment each of them entered my life they lit up a part of my heart I didn’t even know existed.
Being a parent + running my own business (I’m not going to lie) has its challenges. While my office is at home, I like to have “work days” – so that does mean I’m not available seven days a week. I work around my family – replying to emails once all the kids are in bed, sorting social media content once the older two are at school, editing shoots when my husband has a day off. Family always comes first, so if I don’t reply to you within a few days (please don’t panic… however, you’re more than welcome to send me a friendly reminder).
Lastly – photography. To me, photography is like breathing is to you. Without it, I wouldn’t be able to tell the stories I see or the emotions I feel. Documenting people’s lives and my own (on Instagram) brings me absolute joy.
I’d say my style isn’t perfect. It’s raw, real + organic.
I love playing around with light, focusing on the in between moments + lots of cuddles, I’ll never stop asking you to squish in a little more.
My shots aren’t rehearsed, but I’m happy to prompt you, so we can create moments together.
My favourite thing to photograph? The connection. I’d hope my photos make you feel something extraordinary when you look back at them.
